Passenger Tips
Before Departure
To avoid problems at the airport make sure you have the following documents:
- Plane ticket or e-ticket confirmation
- Official photo ID (for Mexican citizens: passport, IFE credential, professional ID, military ID, or driver’s license)
- International passengers should travel with passport and any required visas
Luggage
- Identify your luggage with your name, address and telephone number
- Do not leave your luggage unattended
- Do not leave your luggage with anyone, and do not agree to look after luggage belonging to a stranger
- Do not accept gifts or packages from strangers
- Ask airline about maximum weight for luggage and excess baggage charges
Check-in at airline’s counter
Domestic flights: You should check-in at least one hour before the time of departure
International flights: You should check-in at least 2 hours before the time of departure
Note: Please follow the instructions of your airline
Security
- Check the list of forbidden items to avoid delays at security screening check points
- Do not leave your luggage unattended
- Do not leave your luggage with anyone, and do not agree to look after luggage belonging to a stranger
- Follow the instructions of security personnel and airport signage
- Use taxis and transportation authorized by the airport
